My family and I were on a road trip and we were exhausted of driving so we found this cute spot and it was less than 5 minutes walk from the beach. It was so perfect. We booked at 10 pm and were able to get in with no worries. Host was communicating with us even though it was late at night and that was very appreciated.

Great getaway cottage in La Jolla! After driving across country with my dog, I needed a quiet place close to the beach with lots of walkable trails. This was perfect! Exactly what I needed. Many walks on beach and walks to excellent coffee places. Yum! Nikki was very friendly and proactive - will definitely consider returning if I end up in the area. Thanks Nikki!

We had a great time here. The location was AWESOME! Took us a few minutes to walk to the beach and it was a very safe area. It was awesome for the price. If we come back we will stay here again. I had issues with the lock (all user error) and he came over ASAP to check it out for me. Very attentive host!

This gem of a cottage is the perfect place to be in San Diego! We were staying downtown for work and moved up to La Jolla for a long weekend and it was literally a transformative experience to be in such a cozy place so close to the beach! Nikki was very friendly and responsive. The value for the location is amazing! Easy parking and charming private courtyard made it instantly feel like home. We definitely plan to come back!

Cute house, great location, within walking distance of the beach and restaurants! Nikki was very nice and let us have an early check in even though we booked her place last minute. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

The place was great! Nikki and Vido were so wonderful and flexible given we had to last-minute book their place because we evacuated from the LA fires. They were incredibly kind and understanding. I’m so glad we were able to stay in their cottage; it was just the calm reset we all needed after the fear and sadness from the fires. Thank you, Vido and Nikki!

we stayed here after being evacuated in LA during the fires and it couldn’t have been a better experience. nikki was such a wonderful and kind host, and made us and our 3 extremely anxious cats feel right at home during a really stressful time. we’re looking forward to coming back under better circumstances and getting to properly enjoy this absolutely beautiful location! thank you again, nikki and vido, for your hospitality and generosity 💛

The place was so nice and very clean. Everything went smoothly. The patio was great. Location, location, location. Every morning we got coffee and walked a couple blocks to the beach. It was amazing. There are big waves and surfers to watch, and rocks to climb on, I felt like a kid. I also felt really great knowing some of the money I spent will go directly to the Luckydog Sanctuary! Will stay again.

Thank you for a great stay! We rented this space for a staycation in San Diego while my mom visited for her birthday. The place was cozy and cute and we enjoyed how close it was to the gorgeous Windansea beach. It’s in a very safe and walkable location. Highly recommended for a cozy coastal getaway!

This quaint and cozy house is nestled in a really sweet spot of La Jolla. The house isn’t huge, but what it lacks in size is made up in charm. With 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, enclosed backyard, bbq and table you’ll have plenty of room to relax and have a super fun time! It’s a quick 2 blocks from “Windansea Beach”, a uniquely awesome beach. It has several reefs; offshore and onshore. The offshore reefs make it a killer surf spot. A winter southern swell will often produce 6 to 10 foot A-frame waves that are perfect for longboarding. At low tide the onshore reefs and rocks expose a myriad of tide pools that are amazing to explore. Kids LOVE it because of all the wild life such as: crabs, sea anemone, starfish, small fish and minnows that get trapped in the inner pools, and sea cucumbers. Nikki is a dynamite host and co-host Jen was a pleasure. They both went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Thank you guys!
