Villa Solana is a rustic, vintage tiny-home. Villa Solana is a cottage-syle studio guest house with private entrance and patio available to our Guests (renters in good standing with Airbnb and house rules). Guests will enjoy private use of the home and patio. We accept humble and respectful travelers with polite pets. The sofa bed is miniature (sofa approx 54"x31"; bed area 46.5"x80.5"). House Rules
12-2021 This is a licensing agreement between Host and Lodger for transient, shared lodging at the property selected on the booking platform (“BP”) such as Airbnb, VRBO, or other website. In consideration of monies received and the promises contained herein, the owner/agent("Host") of the subject property (“Rental” or “Property”) hereby agrees to give license to use the agreed property as short-term lodging to the undersigned (herein referred to as “Lodger”) for the the agreed dates (“Term”). The experience of booking, having access to information about and staying at the Property shall be referred to as “Reservation”. The term “Invitee” is any person/animal allowed access to Property by Lodger directly or indirectly. “Loss” includes all Host losses resulting from Reservation. Rules applicable to Lodger are also applicable to Invitees. Lodger will be responsible for Invitees and liable for losses related to Lodger, Invites, and Reservation. Lodger acknowledges that this license or their occupation of Property is not a tenancy. Property laws do not apply to the license granted herein. Lodgers and invitees may be removed as trespassers immediately upon breach of this agreement. Stays deemed residential shall be governed by this agreement to the extent allowable. _ _ _ CHECK IN ETC: Check-in is 5PM or as agreed. Early check-in check in times cannot guaranteed unless property is reserved the night before. Same-day bookings may have delayed check-in. Lodger will photograph Property upon initial entry and confirm with Host that Property is clean, properly equipped and free of obvious damage/hazards. Check-out is 10AM. Rental costs are due at booking. Unless stated, there are no refunds (Trip-cancelation Insurance is recommended). Lodger is responsible for purchasing consumables once the initial supply is depleted. A $33/day fee applies to past-due payments. Returned check fee is $99. A security deposit (“Deposit”) will be held by Host/BP to ensure the terms of this agreement are met. Deposit amount is dependent on risk (e.g. higher deposits for longer stays or guests with pets). Host may retain Deposit, charge Lodgerʼs credit card, or otherwise seek payment for Loss. There is a $15-$20/day/guest fee for each guest after the first. Standard cleaning cost covers one hour of cleaning for studios and 2 hours for 1-2 bedrooms. _ _ _ LODGER WILL DO THE FOLLOWING: CONSERVE RESOURCES, RESPECT THE NEIGHBORHOOD, TAKE A HIGH DEGREE OF CARE OF PROPERTY, PROMPTLY REPORT PROBLEMS, AND MINIMIZE HOST LIABILITY BY ACTING IN A CONSCIENTIOUS AND SAFE MANNER; be aware of and accept the risks and dangers of all onsite and nearby amenities; disclose upon reservation all people/animals who will visit Property during Term; keep the premises tidy, clean, and odor-free; be present and take full responsibility for Property; message Host for non-urgent matters, message and call for urgent matters, and, if no response, locate neighborhood emergency contact (for property emergencies, only); be responsible for utility use in excess of conservative usage (per city and utility); immediately notify Host of damage or injury which occurs on Property or during Term; be responsible for enforcing the rules contained herein; be solely responsible for the consequences of Lodger or Invitee behavior; submit a cancelation for upcoming nights if Host requires this for non-compliance with house rules; submit a cancellation request for a refund of unused nights if Host requires requires this for reasons unrelated to Lodger; immediately inform Host of problems; Inspect all equipment prior to use and only use such equipment if Lodger has read and understands the product's manual; have a maximum of 2 vehicles; park vehicles courteously (maximize available parking for neighbors); conserve energy by letting outdoor air in to cool/heat the home; heat/cool only occupied (by Lodger) rooms; Use only gas heaters in the rooms with these; when circuit breaker trips, report it to host then unplug items on the affected circuit and reset the circuit breaker (by laundry); turn off fans and lights when not using a room; email property manager for non-urgent matters and follow any provided directions on how to obtain help with urgent matters; submit written notice of any noise complaints along with video and audio recording taken from inside Lodger’s rented unit. LODGER MAY DO THE FOLLOWING: when needed, heat rooms up to 68 degrees when outside temperature is below 72; use air conditioner (in units which offer AC) to cool the room no lower than 75 degrees and only when outdoor temperature is higher. Otherwise, to warm/cool home, lodger will open doors/windows. _ _ _ LODGER WILL NOT DO THE FOLLOWING: disturb, endanger, annoy or interfere with neighbors, nor violate any law or ordinance, nor commit or allow theft or waste (of utilities, supplies or anything else); Lodger may not grant any rights to Property nor alter the Property or it’s contents; approach or reach out towards neighbor’s dogs or allow children near any animal which is not a member of their household; invite unregistered persons/animals to Property; Be or allow on the property someone found guilty of a crime of moral turpitude; book Property if AC is required for health reasons; smoke/vape within 25’ of any indoor/outdoor living space or in in a way that negatively impacts health of other persons/pets; Do anything to attracts pests or wildlife (e.g. leaving food unattended); use unapproved pest control or do anything that may harm currentt/future occupants (including pets); subject Property to possible infection If Lodger has experienced a possible bed bug bite or been in a location known/ suspected to have a pest infestation in the last 180 days; Lodger shall not force any window open (West-facing windows of 417 and East windows of 419 must remain closed); Lodger will not use more than one high-draw appliance (hair dryer, space heater, microwave etc) at a ti...
Other Details to Note
Please only use "instant book" for up to 2 months out. Inquire with us for later dates, please. If you book a weekend (Fri +Sat nite) consider adding a third night to lower your average nightly rate. Because we deeply discount weekdays and need full-weekend bookings to be able to do this, brief Stays that include only Friday or Saturday night will have one weeknight adjusted to the weekend rate. The home is rustic and pet-friendly. It comes with a little bit of sand, hair, and fur. The furniture and home has some signs of wear and oxidation. It's very cute but with the rusty screen door and faucets, it is not exactly "pretty'. Happy, peaceful dogs are welcome. If you'll bring any animal to the property (including assistance animals), please describe them at the time of booking. Pet rent is $45 for up to three nights then $15/night (per pet unless otherwise agreed). No Smoking/vaping on/near the property, please (more details in the house rules). Please, no visitors except those on the reservation who've agreed to the house rules. Same-day bookings may require delayed check-in to accommodate last-minute cleaning. For an additional fee, we can arrange cleaning during your stay. All guests are subject to screening (tenant screening and approval is required if stay is longer than 27 nights). Discounts cannot be combined unless approved by host. Guest will be required to cancel from their end if the booking interferes with a home improvement project. I Love Villa Solana! Neighborhood
The neighborhood is officially called the Beach Barber Tract, but most call it "Windansea" Our listing in unique in that is is super convenient. At the corner there is a bus stop and lighted crosswalk to help you access the beach (please be careful crossing any street). You can walk to grocery store, restaurants, bars, salons, spas, convenience stores, holistic wellness spas and a bakery, in just a few minutes. There is even a little park up the street where dogs and owners socialize and kids enjoy the play area.

You can reach everything you need on foot. If you wish to take a longer trip want to or load up on groceries and don't have a vehicle, the bus stop is just at the corner. Lyft and Uber drivers are abundant for 24/7 transportation.
